About:

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is an international professional technical body of electrical engineers and people from associated disciplines. IEEE takes an active part in all the technical events held in the college. IEEE conducts various technical and non-technical fun events during the annual technical festival of KJSIEIT, Renaissance. It also conducts various seminars and workshops round the year, which help students gain an insight and equips them with the current needs and requirements of the industries.

• To develop a volunteered environment where technical thoughts leaders converge and create.
• Communities for people working in various fields.
• To organize technical gatherings to foster innovation and interchange.
• To help students learn about new technologies in upcoming fields in an interesting and carefree manner, as well as help them groom themselves and their personality.

Event:

1. Robotics Webinar

Introduction to the ever increasing field of robotics, structure and build of robots, their components and procedure to build and applications of robots were discussed.

2. Arduino Workshop

Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Sensors simulation with Arduino Uno on tinker cad and various IOT based project ideas were discussed.

3. CSGO Tournament

Counter-Strike : Global Offensive is a multiplayer first-person shooter which was hosted on AWS server and a competition was conducted between teams of 5

4. Web Development Internship

Fundamental web development questions like learning to make a web application using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap for front-end development along with PHP for back-end and MYSQL for database connectivity were taught and project was given at the end on internship.
