About:

The Committee is established for the overall development of women staff and students in the institute. The committee also establishes smooth conduction of day to day working of women staff and students in the college.

Function and Responsibilities:

• To promote general well-being of female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff of the institute.
• To provide appropriate working conditions in respect of work, leisure, health and hygiene to further ensure that there is hostile environment towards women at work places and no women employee has reasonable grounds to believe that she is disadvantaged in connection with her employment.
• To create social awareness about the problems of women and in particular regarding gender discrimination.
