About:

Internet of Things (IoT) is a bionetwork of connected physical objects that are reachable through the internet. The Internet of Things promises to transform a wide range of fields. IoT has evolved from the convergence of wireless technologies, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), micro services and the internet. The convergence has helped tear down the silos between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT), enabling unstructured machine- generated data to be analyzed for insights to drive improvements.

Mission/Vision:

• The IoT Cell KJSIEIT aims to unite students from various departments to work on multi disciplinary fields to encourage inspire nurture the minds of students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes as well as products.
• Build and develop entrepreneurial skills for start-ups and gain hands-on experience to become industry-ready professional.
• With its vision and mission in mind, The IoT KJSIEIT will always continue to uplift the engineers to play a lead innovator’s role in a large corporate

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Encourage budding engineers to build a strong foundation of technical skills related to IoT
• Inspire members to build projects using the skills gained, to solve real-world challenges
• Organize sessions, workshops and other exciting events to develop a zeal for this field.
• To organize technical gatherings to foster innovation and interchange.
• Provide a friendly platform for peer learning and sharing ideas that can change the world
