About:

Developer Students Club was inaugurated in the year 2020. It is a community-based organization for students interested in developer technologies. Here, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.The club aims to conduct various tech talks, hackathons, seminars/workshops and competitions and to identify local organizations and businesses who would benefit from technology-based solutions and facilitate project-based problem-solving activities for club members. Mission/Vision:

• Collaborate and become a chapter of Google Developer Student Club and till then this club will follow all the functions and aims of Google Developer Student Club
• Conduct various tech talks, hackathons, seminars/workshops and competitions and to identify local organizations and businesses who would benefit from technology-based solutions and facilitate project-based problem-solving activities for club members.

Event:

1. Frontend Web Development:

The Developer Students Club of K.J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) organized a Hands-on Session on “Frontend Web Development” from January, 2020 to March, 2020 from 04:40PM – 05:30PM

2. Seminar on Profile Building:

The Developer Students Club of K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) organized a Seminar on “Profile Building” in March, 2020 via Online Mode of MS Team. The crash course was organized to train students in the world of making mobile applications. The resource person for the same was Prince Gada, TE Comps, Jt. Lead- Developer Students Club.

3. Workshop on Flutter:

The Developer Students Club of K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) organized a Crash Course on “Flutter and Dart Technology” on 20 May, 2020 via Online Mode of MS Team. The crash course was organized to train students in the world of making mobile applications. The resource person for the same was Vaibhav Lakhani, TE Comps, LeadDeveloper Students Club.

4. Workshop on PHP:

The Developer Students Club of K J Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (KJSIEIT) had organized a workshop on “PHP” in May 2020 via Online Mode of GMeet. The main aim of this workshop was to teach programming using PHP and introduce how PHP is used in Web Development. The resource person for the same was Prince Gada, TE Comps, Jt. Lead- Developer Students Club.
