About:

The CRSC is a student cell of KJSIET which trains students as well as the faculties in the sector of cyber security and networking. The CSRC strives to develop the quality and the latest knowledge required by the industry in the field mentioned above. Understand cyber crime cyber investigation digital forensics are few of the many goals of this cell.

Mission/Vision:

• To create awareness about cyber crimes and security.
• To conduct cyber security workshops, seminars and training programs for all sections of society.
• To establish ourselves in the position of leadership in cyber security training, thus creating lasting and positive impact on our community.
• To drive students towards cyber security and research grade projects and become a leader in cyber security training.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The CSRC conducts various drives and session for benefit of students.
• Provide cyber crime guidance through “Cyber Security Consultancy Cell” of K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology.

Event:

1. Penetration Testing and Bug Bounties:

To explain penetration testing and bug bounties, also explain working of open source intelligence tools To create google dorks and publishing it.

2. Blockchain Technology: The future:

To kindle awareness about Blockchain Technology. To Introduce the concept of smart contract through solidity programming language. To Simulate local Ethereum Blockchain using Truffle and Remix. To Deploy the smart contract on public test network using Remix and Meta mask.
